For Capital One Arena concerts, floor seating will get you the closest to the stage. However, sections 100, 101, 110, and 111 are also great options, as they're all located just to the side of the stage. Seats in these sections will be slightly elevated but close to the performer. Finally, sections 105, 106, 206, and 207 are the best seats for sitting directly across from the stage. They aren’t necessarily the seats closest to the action, but you'll have a straight-ahead view of the performance.

When it comes to Capital One Arena sporting events – particularly basketball – courtside seats are the best way to be as close to the action as possible. By no means do these seats come cheap, but they'll put you in the first two rows right next to the court. Short of sitting courtside, sections 100 and 111 will get you the closest to the middle of the court, giving you the best view of the game while almost being at the same elevation as the players. In fact, the first few rows in these sections will probably hear the chatter on the court or the crunch of hits on the ice.

In 2018, as part of the venue's $40 million renovation, Capital One Arena introduced a new amenity for guests: a pour-your-own-beer stand. There are 21 taps available for fans to cut out the middle man and pour their own beer. There are also areas of the arena that have self-checkout for grab-and-go food selection.

Food to Try at Capital One Arena

D.C. has plenty of great restaurants, but there are also a lot of good reasons to come to Capital One Arena events with an appetite. When you’re not pouring your own beer, you can visit Lucky Buns to get one of the best burgers in the city. Fried chicken chain Fuku is also in the building and makes a delicious spicy chicken sandwich. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, try the falafel waffle or vegetarian tacos for something a little different.
